| ZION NATIONAL PARK - LODGING - RESORTS - HOTELS - MOTELS - CABINS
LODGING: Hotels, motels, b&b's, guest ranches and lodges are available in the nearby communities of Springdale, East Zion, Mount Carmel Junction, Kanab, and St. George, and there are dozens of campgrounds within a 25-mile radius. Zion Mountain Ranch and the Zion Ponderosa Ranch are full-service resorts (lodging, dining, activities, shopping) located near the park’s east entrance.
Lodging inside Zion National Park includes Zion Lodge and two campgrounds. The campgrounds are both located just off the main park road in the southern tip of the park: the Watchman Campground near the south entrance, and the South Campground located one-half mile north of Springdale. Both campgrounds are open year-round and have tent, trailer, and RV sites. The South Campground is first come, first served but reservations can be made for the Watchman Campground, which also has electric hook-ups. Leashed pets are permitted at both campgrounds. Shower and laundry services, groceries, and gas are available in nearby Springdale.
Accommodations at Zion Lodge include six suites, 40 historic cabins, and 81 standard motel rooms. Zion Lodge is in high demand during peak tourist season so reservations should be made well in advance. Other amenities include the Red Rock Grill dining room (open year-round), the seasonal Castle Dome Café, and a gift ship. There are no gas stations inside the park.
